Hi there! I’m Stephanie. I’m an artist, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. I’m the creative mind behind Kapha Gallery. Our mission is to help you transform your home into a sanctuary that is soothing and nurturing to your soul.

Born and raised in the laid-back lifestyle of the island of Haiti, the rich and colorful Caribbean heritage permeates my work. Fifteen years of professional life in vibrant New-York City also influences my craft. I currently reside in Delray Beach, Florida where the busy arts scene contributes to what makes this city a special gem. My life journey has molded me into the realistic dreamer I am today. My passions are broad, but my work has one focus; I aim to create pieces that uplift and inspire. I work in the hopes of helping brighten the days of the viewer.

Here’s a few things to get to know me better:

• Past career: I haven’t always worked as an artist. As for many, my family didn’t support the idea of embracing art as a profession. So, I attended law school and worked for 20 years in the legal field, both in Haiti and in the U.S.
• My mission: Today I am back to art, my first love, with burning passion and enthusiasm. Free to create in alignment with my Soul’s purpose: spreading love, peace and light and helping make a positive impact in the world.
• My artistic training: I’ve always been an artist at heart, so over the years I’ve had the opportunity to train under prominent Haitian artists such as Frank Louissaint and Tiga, and in U.S. I attended The 92nd Street Y, and The Art League of Long Island in New York. I’ve explored various forms of visual arts, such as ceramics, mosaics, photography, drawing and painting. My mediums of choice for painting are acrylic, and oil and cold wax medium.

• My inspiration: Nature, emotions, feel, energy, and light.
• My process: I let the emotions of the moment move me and play with color, light, lines,and forms to convey mood and energy. I create unencumbered with the knowing that each piece will find its way to its recipient.
• Spirituality: I’m spiritual and intuitive.
