Lost Eyes by Rojmeck
$450.00
Lost Eyes by artist Rojmeck, Roland Mecklembourg. Acrylic on canvas. Year 2010. Measurements: 14 X 11. Weight: about 1lb.
A self-taught artist, Roland Mecklembourg (Rojmeck) was born in the Caribbean country of Haiti. A natural visionary, he tries to reconcile through his art the seen and the unseen, the visible with the invisible, men and women with themselves and with each other. A philosopher, he sees himself as a medium who is bringing a little part of an overall message. Using bright colors either in acrylic on canvas or pen and ink, Rojmeck conveys at time a fantasy world of imaginative concepts that have taken him to indefinite linear and nonlinear revelations of forms and shapes that he says are guided totally by the Spirit… His works, since 1977 have been in private collections in Europe, the United States, and the West Indies.
