Brintle Patricia The works of self-taught artist Patricia Brintle are vibrant and remind the viewer of her native Haiti. Her paintings are infused with complex symbolisms that seem, at first glance, simple but reveal themselves upon further examination. Many of Brintle’s works address strong issues such as nuclear disarmament, the Holocaust and the Haitian earthquake. Several of her works are featured in movies and grace the covers and pages of books, magazines, and publications. Brintle belongs to several art organizations and exhibits internationally. Brintle is also the president of From Here to Haiti, Ltd. (FHTH), a non-profit all-volunteer charity doing repair work in Haiti, and donates most of the proceeds from the sale of her artworks to FHTH. -

Jean Francoise Francoise Jean was born on June 2, 1953 in the village of Les Anglais in southern Haiti. She worked with artist Petion Savain and later Jean Richard Coachy. She only paints children. One of her paintings was purchased to represent ""The International year of Children"" by the FAO in Germany. Francoise Jean has had exhibits in Haiti, Martinique and Guadeloupe. Her artwork also graces postcards and almanacs from UNICEF. Francoise Jean is now deceased, and her painting widely sought after. -

Defournoy Felix Felix Defournoy was born in Petion-Ville, Haiti in 1956 and started painting at an early age. He is especially known for his remarkable rain scenes and fire panoramas. He has participated in exhibitions in Washington DC, New York, Miami, New Orleans. Defournoy lives in Petion-Ville where he continues to paint. -
